I have to say it: I am LOVING all of these elopements, micro and intimate wedding days! I hate that they all cam about because of this virus, but I love this new trend. I’ve always photographed Las Vegas elopements but the number of smaller weddings I’m photographing has grown and it’s been so fun. There’s something so romantic and special about these days. Katelyn and Martin’s Red Rock Canyon intimate wedding day was no exception!
Red Rock Canyon Overlook Intimate Wedding & Calico Basin Portraits
Martin and Katelyn chose to be married in Red Rock Canyon with 12 of their closest family and friends, plus a few vendors. With a beautiful solo violin playing, their ceremony took place in front of the canyon. It was such a gorgeous setting for their wedding vows! Katelyn’s bouquet was filled with red florals, pulling from the natural landscape around us. After exchanging vows, I took Katelyn and Martin through the park for some wedding portraits.
I seriously love any chance I get to capture newlyweds in Red Rock Canyon. There’s something incredible about seeing them in their wedding attire against the gorgeous deep red rocks. Las Vegas truly provides us with some stunning natural backdrops for these special moments. Katelyn and Martin were just perfect during their portraits – it’s so clear how in love they are! I’m beyond honored I was able to document their beautiful, intimate wedding in Red Rock Canyon.
