Planning a Wedding During COVID-19

There’s no way around this one: Coronavirus (COVID-19) is making the world feel a bit smaller and a lot more crazy. Anyone else feeling the same way? As we all struggle to figure out what “normal” looks like for the next few weeks, I wanted to take some time to talk to you, my clients and favorite people, about how this will impact our scheduled sessions or your wedding day/elopement! Planning a wedding is never easy, but doing it in the middle of a pandemic is definitely stressful.

Wedding Planning during Coronavirus outbreak

We’re in this together.

Before we get any further in this discussion, I want you to know that we’re in this together. I am here for you – to make whatever decisions you have to make as smooth and easy as possible. I want to be sure we put everyone’s health at the forefront of any decisions, and I will work with you however I can to make things easy!

Rescheduling!

The most common option for sessions and events scheduled in the next few weeks is to reschedule. I am completely flexible when it comes to rescheduling whatever you need! All of these changes due to COVID-19 are covered in your contract with me, under the “Force Majure, postponement & rescheduling” clauses. Although I know that no one wants to think about rescheduling their wedding date, it is a safer option. Let’s talk about the best dates to move to – and check with your other vendors too. We’re all here to help you out!

We’ll make it through COVID-19.

No matter what happens, it’s important to focus on the fact that you two will get married and be together! And your other sessions? They’ll happen eventually. Nothing is worth risking your (or others) health. I know it’s stressful but we’re all here to help you make new plans in the least stressful way possible. In the meantime, reach out to your vendors and begin discussing your options. We’re all in this together and we will get through it!
