When Tara reached out to be about booking a photographer for her and Lance’s Little Vegas Chapel elopement, I was so excited! Photographing elopements always makes me super happy. Honestly, there’s something so meaningful about a really intimate ceremony that’s all about what YOU two want as a couple. For Tara and Lance, it’s a true Vegas elopement (Elvis included!) and some portraits downtown. What a way to get married!
Little Vegas Chapel Elopement
Let me tell you, you haven’t lived until you’ve seen Elvis officiate a wedding ceremony. Tara walked down the aisle to meet Lance in The Little Vegas Chapel by Elvis. With his help, the two exchanged their vows and signed their certificate making everything official. Seriously, this Elvis was SO much fun. I’ve seen a few now, but I absolutely loved this guy!! After some portraits inside and by his pink Cadillac, it was time to head over to the Bellagio Hotel for some other portraits of the newlyweds.
I LOVE the Bellagio because it has such beautiful gardens. Here, I spent some time with Tara and Lance exploring what this gorgeous hotel has to offer as we celebrated their wedding day. Because elopements are usually shorter wedding days, I recommend a few hours for portrait time afterwards! Tara and Lance just couldn’t stop grinning – and I don’t blame them. It’s such a good feeling to know that you’re officially married – the way you wanted.
