We’ve all seen the cheesy romantic movies with the couples embracing in the pouring rain and not caring about anything else, right? Most of us enjoy the idea, but when it comes down to it, being photographed in the rain isn’t exactly first on our list. But, for Taylor and Joshua’s Mount Charleston engagement session, that’s exactly what happened! We wound up with a bit of a rain storm during their portrait session and honestly, it turned out to be a lot of fun. With lots of laughs, cozy cuddles under an umbrella, and just celebrating their sheer happiness, we had a wonderful session on the mountainside! There’s nothing I enjoy more than an afternoon in the mountains!!!
Mount Charleston Engagement Session
Although it rained for most of our session, Taylor and Joshua were amazing. They smiled and laughed under a clear umbrella, and when it let up a little bit, they explored together. The forest around us and the grey skies proved to be a romantic atmosphere after all. And, we managed some beautiful, moody and joyful engagement photos to celebrate these two! There really isn’t anything like being caught in the rain with someone you love, is there?
I love when my couples are up for an adventure – especially when things turn out a bit differently than planned. This world can be crazy, but together we can make it work for you!!
