Erik and Max had the most romantic wedding day and celebration with their friends and family. Their day was beautiful because it was truly about them and their relationship together. Erik and Max chose to have a small, intimate wedding. I love capturing these weddings! They’re truly about celebrating the joy that comes with a new marriage. I am so glad Erik and Max were willing to hike with me to Zion National Park to kick start their wedding day with the sunrise!
Zion National Park Wedding Portraits
We started the morning with a short hike in Zion National Park so that we could capture their first look somewhere special. Together on the trail, it is easy to feel that these two are meant for each other. As Erik moved towards Max for their first look, it was such a special moment. With the sunrise coming over the rocks, the soon-to-be newlyweds enjoyed a special first look.
Utah Wedding Day
With the early morning sun lighting such a unique spot, their wedding portraits just scream romance and love. After a stunning portrait session, we all headed back down to meet their family and friends at the lodge. Erik and Max tied the knot in a sweet ceremony outdoors. Of course, Erik looked absolutely gorgeous – and all of the details she’d work so hard on were just perfect! She actually did all of the decorations and flowers herself! Not to mention, she did her own hair and makeup too! There is nothing she can’t do!
The lodge wound up being the perfect spot for their intimate wedding reception. Erik and Max were able to enjoy the time with their family and friends, celebrating the start of their new journey. I was even able to steal them outside for a few more portraits on the property. Erik and Max, your day was absolutely perfect – thank you for letting me be a part of your story!
